In order to improve the convenience of the operators inquiring about raw material information, the agency has established the "Food Raw Material Integration Inquiry Platform" on the official website. The items listed on the platform that are not edible or are not recommended for consumption are all compiled from food raw material cases that have been subject to safety assessment over the years or are commonly inquired about. Therefore, it is not possible to list all traditional food raw materials or materials that cannot be used. If there are no search results on the platform, but the queried raw material belongs to general traditional food raw materials (such as chicken, duck, fish, vegetables, fruits, and grains, etc.), it can be used as food raw materials. If it does not belong to general traditional food raw materials, relevant information such as the original source of the raw material (including the Latin name, the part used), detailed processing procedures, ingredient content specifications, purpose and quantity of use, historical consumption experience, and safety can be provided to the agency for comprehensive judgment.
