To enhance resource recycling, reduce waste, implement the concept of turning trash into gold, inspire community vitality, promote environmental education and improve environmental hygiene, the New Taipei City Government's Environmental Protection Bureau launched the "Golden Resource Collection Station" policy at the end of August 2011. This policy encourages neighborhood leaders to set up resource collection stations, where residents can bring recyclable items to be weighed, accumulate points, and exchange them for New Taipei City's special garbage bags and other redemption items; this webpage provides information on the establishment of New Taipei City's Golden Resource Collection Stations.
