Offenders caught smoking in the designated non-smoking areas will be fined between NT2,000 and NT10,000.Parks, old streets, and schools are outdoor activity areas that are closest to people's lives, representing different functions and qualities of life. The Health Bureau focuses on promoting smoke-free spaces in these three types of venues to achieve the best results. However, what is more needed is the joint efforts of the public and the tourism industry with the Health Bureau to sustainably operate a healthier and better New Taipei City.
