New Taipei City 103 A1 road traffic accidents - Statistics on the relationship between motorcycle casualties and the use of helmets
In the city, in 2014, there were 103 A1 traffic accidents. The number of motorcyclists and passengers who died was 67, and the number of injured was 32. Among them, the number of deaths wearing helmets was 64, and the number of injured was 31, with a ratio of 95.9%. However, wearing a helmet is not an absolute guarantee of life safety, as there is still a great possibility of causing injuries to other parts of the body.
