Since the year 100 of the Republic of China, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has been digitizing the underground pipeline data of the industrial parks under its jurisdiction, and providing an Internet platform for colleagues to use. The data not only serves as a legacy of relevant experiences and knowledge, but also provides access for the public. Due to the large area and high quantity of industrial parks under its jurisdiction, the construction is being carried out gradually each year. Currently, only the following industrial parks have been completed: Tucheng, New Taipei Industrial Park, Linkou Industrial Park Phase II, Linkou Industrial Park Phase III, Hsinchu, Dajia Youshi, Taichung, Dali, Changhua Coastal Industrial Park, Minxiong, Touqian, Yongkang, Dafa, Dashe, Linyuan, Kaohsiung Linhai, Renwu, Taoyuan Youshi, Nangang, and Xinying. In order to provide the public and relevant agencies with an understanding of the underground pipeline data within the jurisdiction of the Ministry, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has established the "Pipeline Map of Industrial Parks under the Jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economic Affairs," providing information on sewage pipeline pipelines. In line with the government's promotion of open data measures, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is now open to the public and provides the electronic underground pipeline map data of all industrial parks under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economic Affairs throughout Taiwan.
