Since the 100th year of the Republic of China, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has been digitizing the underground pipeline data of the industrial areas under its jurisdiction. It also provides an internet platform for colleagues to use, and allows the public to access and query the information. Due to the large area and a large number of industrial areas under its jurisdiction, the bureau is implementing the construction process on a yearly basis. Currently, only the following industrial areas have been completed: Tucheng, New Taipei Industrial Park, Linkou Industrial Park Phase II, Linkou Industrial Park Phase III, Hsinchu, Dajia Youshi, Dali, Changhua Coastal Industrial Park, Minxiong, Yongkang, Dafa, Dashe, Linyuan, Kaohsiung Linhai, Renwu, Taoyuan Youshi, Nangang, and Xinying. In order to provide the public and relevant agencies with an understanding of the underground pipeline data in the industrial areas under its jurisdiction, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has established the "Industrial Zone Pipeline Map" dataset and provides information on rainwater pipeline lines. In line with the government's data opening measures, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is now open to providing the electronic underground pipeline map data for all industrial areas under its jurisdiction, and invites various parties to make use of it.
