1. Statistical scope and objects: All activities undertaken by the elderly welfare (cultural) activity centers and units providing elderly continuing education and study courses shall be included in this statistical report.2. Statistical reference periods: For dynamic (current) data, the period from January to June constitutes the first half of the year, and the period from July to December constitutes the second half of the year; for static (end-of-period) data, the facts as of the end of June and December are considered. 3. Definition of statistical items:(1) Elderly Welfare (Cultural) Activity Centers: Includes places providing elderly welfare services or offering consulting services for the elderly; however, community care centers are not included.(2) Lifelong Learning Institutes: Any institution providing multifaceted learning opportunities and channels for those aged 55 and above, with each course lasting for at least 24 hours and running continuously for a minimum of 12 weeks, falls under this category.
