Taiwan promotes the "National Marine Pollution Prevention White Paper" with four core action plans: 1. Improve monitoring and investigation, revise water quality standards, expand to 349 monitoring points, test sunscreen, organic tin, perfluorinated compounds, and microplastics, with a water quality achievement rate of over 99.6%. 2. Strengthen waste treatment, reduce waste at the source, public and private cooperation to remove marine debris and seabed waste, establish temporary fishing port areas, reduce cold pressing, establish a marine waste recycling alliance, and clear 50 tons of seabed garbage annually. 3. Enhance prevention and response, revise emergency response plans, establish 10 material warehouses, use satellites, drones for monitoring, establish prevention and control funds, and develop underwater noise guidelines. 4. Promote education and international cooperation, establish an education center, and sign memoranda of cooperation with multiple countries.
