Article 19 of the Animal Protection Act and the Pet Registration Management Regulations stipulate that the owner should, within four months from the dog's birth, bring the dog to the pet registration station to implant a microchip for pet registration, and provide the following documents: (1) Owner's identification documents (2) Animal rabies vaccination certificateFor dogs that are born, acquired, transferred, lost, or deceased, owners should go to the pet registration station within the legally required period to handle relevant registrations. For owners of dogs who fail to register their pets in accordance with the above provisions, a fine of no less than NT3,000 and no more than NT15,000 may be imposed in accordance with Article 31 of the Animal Protection Act.
