The Health Insurance Bureau has selected evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to enhance the medical quality of heart attack patients, as a reference for relevant disease treatment or health care quality. The public indicators are divided into three categories according to the treatment period and quality aspects, including inpatient process assessment, post-discharge continuous medication evaluation, and outcome assessment. This includes the ratio of inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing LDL testing during hospitalization, the medication ratio within three, six, and nine months after hospitalization for patients with AMI, the emergency room visit ratio within three days after discharge for patients with the same principal diagnosis or related conditions, and the unplanned readmission ratio within fourteen days after discharge for patients with the same principal diagnosis or related conditions.
