The Health Insurance Agency has selected evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to enhance the quality of medical care for myocardial infarction patients, to serve as references for related disease treatment and healthcare quality; the public indicators are divided into three categories based on treatment duration and quality aspects, including inpatient process assessment, post-discharge continuation of medication assessment, and outcome assessment. These include the ratio of inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing LDL cholesterol tests, the medication ratios for AMI patients during hospitalization and at three, six, and nine months post-discharge, emergency room revisit rates within three days of discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions, and unplanned readmission rates within fourteen days of discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions, etc.
