Data on turbidity of Baoshan Second Reservoir
In view of the rapid development of industry and commerce in the Hsinchu area and the prosperous industrial park, it has attracted a large number of immigrants, leading to the increasing demand for public and industrial water. The demand for water has long exceeded the carrying capacity of Baoshan Reservoir and Yongheshan Reservoir. In order to improve the water supply in the Hsinchu area, the Water Resources Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan Water Corporation, and Hsinchu County Government jointly constructed the second Baoshan Reservoir. The construction of the Baoshan Second Reservoir began in 1987, and it was officially completed in June 2006. With the addition of the Baoshan Second Reservoir to the original Baoshan Reservoir, the two can be used together to increase the water supply and solve the water shortage problem in the Hsinchu area. This dataset provides turbidity data for the Baoshan Second Reservoir, so that people can understand the turbidity status of the reservoir.
