This dataset is commissioned annually to compile the previous year's statistics on the use of water by various targets. The utilization of water by various targets has long been valued by the relevant economic development and water resources agencies, as well as various academic research units. This is to enable the government to have clear statistical data on various water usage, in order to facilitate the formulation of water usage policies, and to serve as a reference for water resource planning by all sectors. In order to provide the public with this valuable information, the Water Resources Agency publishes an annual water usage statistical report. The statistical and compilation methods of the aforementioned annual report have been used for many years. In recent years, the development and application of water resources have become increasingly diversified, and water resource management has become more sophisticated. Through the use of limited data to estimate the water usage and source of water for various targets, this serves as a reference for water resource planning and management. The data covers each county and city as the statistical unit and is used by the agency to grasp the actual water usage status of various targets.
