To integrate government resources, starting from the year 2017, the Ministry of Transportation's "Transportation Network Digital Map" will be merged into the "Taiwan General Electronic Map" of this center for updating. According to the layer structure jointly set by both parties, the "Digital Data File of Taiwan's Traffic Network Map" will be established and classified as one of the thematic layers of the Taiwan General Electronic Map. In addition, in order to comply with the government's promotion of open data policy, this center will provide part of the map data of the "Digital Map of Taiwan's Traffic Network Data File" for public browsing, promoting inter-agency data circulation, enhancing governance efficiency, meeting the needs of the public, and creating knowledge assets and convenient services using government open data.
