Starting from the fiscal year 2017, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications "Traffic Network Digital Map" will be integrated into the "Taiwan General Electronic Map" updated by this center, to build the "Taiwan Traffic Network Map Digital Data File" based on the layer structure jointly determined by both parties, and classified as one of the thematic layers of the Taiwan General Electronic Map. In line with the government's open data policy, this center opens some of the map data of the "Taiwan Traffic Network Digital Map Data File" to the public for browsing, promoting cross-agency data flow, improving administrative efficiency and meeting the needs of the public, in order to use government open data to create knowledge assets and convenient services.
