Report on the findings of the investigation into the Chinese white dolphin
This series of reports summarizes the comprehensive investigations and monitoring of the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins (Sousa chinensis) along the west coast of Taiwan from 2019 to 2024. The core objective is to accurately grasp the population size, habitat use patterns, distribution trends, and to in-depth study the complex relationship between the humpback dolphins and their ecological system, in order to provide urgently needed scientific data to support the conservation and management decisions for this critically endangered population.
