This project connects the "Marine Waste Recycling Alliance" with local governments and recycling operators to assist local governments in pilot recycling of waste fishing nets (including oyster ropes) and remote island marine waste polystyrene (buoys) to accelerate the cleanup of marine waste. Additionally, in order to enhance the recycling capacity and quality of recycled materials from marine waste, it is necessary to continuously promote the Marine Waste Recycling Alliance and showcase marine waste recycling products, while simultaneously collecting domestic and international advocacy information on marine waste or plastic conventions to serve as a reference for the Marine Conservation Administration's pilot marine waste recycling and reuse policies. At the same time, guiding local governments to pilot marine waste recycling and reuse initiatives using waste fishing nets (oyster ropes) and waste polystyrene (buoys) as pilot targets, and implementing relevant marine waste classification recycling management and promoting the smooth operation of recycling channels.
