With the rise of the knowledge economy, intangible intellectual property has replaced traditional assets and become an important resource for enterprise management and national development. The government encourages innovation and research and development, and places particular emphasis on implementing intellectual property protection, especially in patents, as a key tool for promoting social progress and industrial competition, closely related to technological development and national competitiveness, and an important indicator of a country's level of modernization.The Patent Law of our country was formulated and promulgated by the National Government on May 29, 1944 and came into effect on January 1, 1949. It has undergone 12 amendments, and the current law was promulgated on January 22, 2014, and came into effect on March 24, 2014.To enhance understanding of the Patent Law and related legislation across various sectors, the Intellectual Property Office provides the "Current Patent Law and Regulations Information" dataset on the government's open data platform for the public to gain insights into our country's patent law and related legislation, with the aim of promoting national industrial development.
