The Taoyuan City Animal Protection Education Park announced that dogs and cats captured, abandoned, found, or returned by citizens are welcomed to be adopted by visiting the park. If you suspect that a lost pet matches the description in the announcement or want to adopt a pet, please note the announcement date and photo number and call 03-4861760 or 03-4861733 to inform the park staff for arrangements. If pets are unclaimed for over 7 days, the park may arrange for adoption or take necessary measures for their care. According to the Animal Protection Law, abandoning or surrendering animals to shelters without registration is subject to a fine of NTD 3,000 to 15,000. For adopted animals, they may be returned within one month if not intended for long-term care. After one month, they cannot be kept unless registered.
