The water source conservation and feedback fee levied in accordance with Article 12-2 of the Water Supply Act shall be managed and utilized by a special account team established in each protection zone, exclusively for the purposes of carrying out basic infrastructure for water resources conservation and environmental ecological conservation, providing public welfare feedback for residents, and compensating restricted land within the water quality and quantity protection zone. The utilization of funds shall be in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 2, item 3 of the Water Supply Act, which are as follows: 1. Carrying out water resources conservation, drainage, ecological recreation and tourism facilities, and other water conservancy infrastructure maintenance matters. 2. Providing employment guidance for residents, assisting local industries in water resources conservation and nurturing, awarding scholarships for education, medical care and health insurance, and public welfare feedback such as water and electricity fees. 3. Disbursing compensation to landowners or related rights holders for restricted land use due to the establishment of water quality and quantity protection zones. 4. Providing tax subsidies for indigenous areas. 5. Establishing a contingency fund for emergency use. 6. Handling related expenses regarding the collection of water source conservation and feedback fees. 7. Carrying out necessary actions for the use of water source conservation and feedback fees. 8. Other matters related to public welfare, water resources education, research, and conservation. This open data is compiled by the Water Resources Agency to provide statistics on the execution of water source conservation and feedback plans by township and city/county offices within the water quality and quantity protection zone, including the execution funds and proportions for each item.
