"The source of the information is the River Rehabilitation Network and the e-River website of this agency. The website was closed in July 2021 and the information is no longer updated. This dataset includes articles related to river rehabilitation and conservation, covering river water quality and ecology, river ecology, fish passages, riverside recreation, riverside vegetation, ecological observation/tourism, river corridors, ecological engineering, river landscape improvement projects, river ecology conservation, and education. The dataset is provided by the Information Office of the Water Resources Agency's Taiwan River Rehabilitation Network Database Management System. It is mainly oriented towards 'anticipating public needs', 'environmental education', and 'academic research', in accordance with the relevant topics proposed by the Water Resources Agency, and invites submissions from experts, masters, and scholars in the field of river rehabilitation ecology. Relevant articles are irregularly included each year, aiming to enrich the content of the articles through different professional perspectives, adopting a 'storytelling' tone and presenting professional text with emotional expression, to depict the historical sources, ecological value, and spiritual connotations of river rehabilitation or environmental education, as well as matching ecological tourism routes, and arranging in-depth content writing with a combination of photos, images, and text."
