The 6 months after a stroke are the golden period for rehabilitation, during which physical abilities recover the fastest. Generally, about 40% of stroke patients receiving rehabilitation therapy have good recovery of upper limb function, with only 15-20% achieving full recovery. Approximately 85% of patients regain the ability to walk independently after lower limb training, and 20-40% can walk up and down stairs. Most functional recovery occurs within 6 months after a stroke, especially within the first 3 months. Stroke rehabilitation is a long-term battle, and the patient's own willpower and emotional adjustment are important. Relaxing, continuing rehabilitation, and adjusting lifestyle are necessary for a gradual return to normal life.
