To improve industrial structure, enhance competitiveness of traditional industries, revitalize traditional industries, and increase job opportunities, according to the approved "Traditional Industry Revitalization Plan and Promotion Program" by the Executive Yuan, the first phase of revitalization projects in the field of metal machinery and electronics includes guidance on four projects: "Smart Small Home Appliances," "Digital Hand Tools," "Safe Smart Bathroom Equipment," and "Precision Metal Products." Through the infusion of information and communication technology (ICT), cultural and creative aesthetics, environmental protection, and improvement of business models, these projects aim to bring innovative elements and thinking to traditional metal machinery and electronics industries, creating renewed and higher value. This can induce new growth momentum for the traditional industry and transform the traditional metal machinery and electronics industry into a rising star of revitalization, setting an example for creating value in Taiwan.
