The rate of administration of ACE inhibitors or ARBs to patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) during hospitalization (disease-specific indicator)
The Bureau of National Health Insurance has selected evidence-based medical indicator items to be made public in order to enhance the medical quality of myocardial infarction patients, and to serve as a reference for related disease treatment or healthcare quality. The publicized items are divided into three categories based on the treatment period and quality dimensions, including inpatient process assessment during hospitalization, assessment of continuous drug therapy at discharge, and outcome assessment. This includes the ratio of inpatient blood LDL testing for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients, medication ratios during hospitalization and at 3, 6, and 9 months after discharge for AMI patients, emergency department revisit ratios within 3 days of discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions, and unplanned readmission ratios within 14 days of discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions.
