The Health Insurance Administration has selected evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to enhance the quality of medical care for patients with myocardial infarction. These indicators will serve as a reference for relevant disease treatment and healthcare quality, with three major categories based on treatment period and quality assessment: inpatient process assessment, assessment of continuous medication after discharge, and outcome assessment. This includes the ratio of inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing LDL cholesterol testing during hospitalization, the medication administration ratio for AMI patients during hospitalization and within three, six, and nine months after discharge, the ratio of emergency room visits within three days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related condition, and the unplanned readmission ratio within fourteen days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related condition.
