The National Health Insurance Administration has selected evidence-based medical indicators to publicize in order to improve the quality of medical care for patients with myocardial infarction, as references for the quality of medical care for related diseases or treatment. The publicized indicators are divided into three categories based on the treatment period and quality aspects, including inpatient process assessment, assessment of continuous medication therapy at discharge, and outcome assessment. This includes the ratio of inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing LDL cholesterol testing during hospitalization, the medication rate within three, six, and nine months after discharge for patients with AMI, the rate of emergency room revisits within three days after discharge due to the same primary diagnosis or related conditions, and the unplanned readmission rate within fourteen days after discharge due to the same primary diagnosis or related conditions.
