The Health Insurance Administration has selected evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to improve the quality of care for patients with myocardial infarction, and to serve as a reference for relevant disease treatment or healthcare quality; the indicators are divided into three categories based on treatment period and quality aspects, including inpatient process evaluation, post-discharge continuous medication treatment evaluation, and outcome evaluation. This includes the ratio of inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing LDL cholesterol testing during hospitalization, the medication ratio within three, six, and nine months after hospitalization and outpatient care for patients with AMI, the ratio of emergency room visits within three days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions, and the unplanned readmission ratio within fourteen days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions.
