The Health Insurance Administration (HIA) has selected specific evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to enhance the quality of medical care for myocardial infarction patients. These indicators serve as a reference for the quality of care for related diseases and healthcare. The public indicators are categorized into three major types based on the treatment period and quality aspects, including inpatient process assessment, assessment of continued medication after discharge, and outcome assessment. These include the ratio of inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing LDL cholesterol testing during hospitalization, medication ratios for AMI patients during hospitalization, and at three, six, and nine months after discharge, as well as emergency department revisit ratios within three days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions, and unplanned readmission ratios within fourteen days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related conditions.
