The Health Insurance Administration has selected evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to enhance the quality of medical care for myocardial infarction patients, providing a reference for relevant disease treatment or healthcare quality; the public indicators are divided into three categories according to the treatment period and quality aspects, including inpatient process evaluation, outpatient continued medication treatment evaluation, and outcome evaluation. This includes the ratio of inpatient LDL cholesterol testing for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients, medication administration ratios during inpatient and three, six, and nine months after discharge for AMI patients, emergency room revisit ratio within three days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related condition, and unplanned readmission ratio within fourteen days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related condition.
