The National Health Insurance Administration (NHIA) has selected evidence-based medical indicators to be made public in order to strengthen the quality of medical care for patients with myocardial infarction. These indicators serve as references for relevant diseases when seeking medical care or assessing the quality of health care. The public indicators are divided into three categories based on the treatment period and quality aspects, including inpatient process assessment, assessment of continuous medication after discharge, and outcome assessment. This includes the ratio of AMI patients undergoing LDL cholesterol testing during hospitalization, medication ratios for AMI patients during hospitalization and at three, six, and nine months after discharge, emergency room revisit rates within three days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related condition, and unplanned readmission rates within fourteen days after discharge for the same primary diagnosis or related condition.
