Under the provisions of Article 36 of the Patent Law, the application shall be made public 18 months from the date of application. This public procedure opens the invention for public disclosure, publicizes miscellaneous information, and discloses changes to the invention application, such as substantive examination cases after publication, court letters requesting that patent cases be prohibited from being transferred or subjected to other registrations, presented in single-page scan image TIFF files.
