1. Statistical scope and objects: Any traffic accidents that occur on roads within the area of Taipei City are within the statistical scope and objects. (1) Accidents caused by motor vehicles or power machinery are required. (2) Accidents must occur on the road. (3) Non-fatal. (That is, it complies with the A2 type road traffic accident investigation report)2. Statistical standard time: Based on the incidents that occur each year.3. Classification standard: Classified according to road category and road type.4. Relevant laws and regulations: (1) Road traffic accidents: According to the "Regulations on the Handling of Road Traffic Accidents" Article 2, it refers to accidents caused by motor vehicles or power machinery traveling on the road, resulting in death, injury, or vehicle or property damage. (2) Road: Refers to public roads, streets, alleys, squares, arcades, corridors, or other places where the public can pass. (3) The road category and road type are based on the first party involved as the statistical standard. (4) Special-purpose road refers to roads specifically used by various industries. (For example, when accidents occur on more than two different categories of roads, the road driven by the first party involved is primary). (5) Road traffic accidents do not include accidents involving the railway (train) itself, but accidents involving trains and motor vehicles or power machinery are included, referred to as level crossing accidents.5. Data collection methods and compilation procedures: The Traffic Division of this bureau compiles and submits the road traffic accident investigation report forms filled out by the month to the Traffic Brigade of this bureau. According to the investigation report, the monthly data is compiled by sub-bureau.
