1. Scope and objects of statistics: All traffic accidents that occur on the roads within the district of New Taipei City are within the scope and objects of statistics. (1) Accidents must be caused by the driving of motor vehicles or power machinery. (2) Accidents must occur on the road. (3) Non-fatal. (i.e. conforming to the Road Traffic Accident Investigation Report A2)2. Standard time for statistics: Based on the incidents that occur each year.3. Classification standards: Classified by the cause of the accident and the number of deaths and injuries.4. Definitions of statistical items: (1) Road traffic accident: According to Article 2 of the "Regulations for the Handling of Road Traffic Accidents," it refers to accidents that result in death, injury, or vehicle or property damage caused by motor vehicles or power machinery driving on the road. (2) Road: Refers to public roads, streets, lanes, squares, arcades, corridors, or other places for public passage. (3) The data for the cause of the accident is based on the first party involved. (4) Number of occurrences: Calculated according to the definition of A2 cases. That is, non-fatal cases of A2 type. (5) Number of deaths: Number of deaths of A1 type. (6) Number of injuries: After classifying the cases of death occurring in A1 type, calculate the number of injuries.5. Data collection methods and compilation procedures: The traffic squadron of this department will submit the road traffic accident investigation report form filled out for the month to the traffic brigade of this department for compilation. The data for the month will be compiled into this form according to the district bureau based on the investigation report form.
